Life Through the Son

Revelation - Greetings from The Trinity Father, Son, and Holy Spirit to people in a small church in the first century AD

The Trinity in Revelation—Even If the Word Isn’t There

Wait a second. Where did that word Trinity come from? It’s not in the beginning of Revelation. Actually, it’s not in the middle or the end of it either. In fact, the word isn’t in the Bible anywhere. But then, unless you’re reading a Hebrew or Greek translation of what I wrote, none of these words are in the original “Bible”. Not in the original writings of any of the authors of the books we call the Bible.

Do not be afraid because of them!

Do not be afraid because of them! But who is “them”?
Said by both Moses and Jesus

Do not be afraid because of them! That might sound good. But who said it? Who was it said to? Does it apply to us? And who is “them”? Who is it that we shouldn’t be afraid of? Oh yeah – why shouldn’t we be afraid? These are all good questions. Will we ask them? Or will we just run with the statement not to be afraid? Especially if we’re Christian and we know this comes from the Bible!

Our accuser could be Moses?

Genesis – including the creation account – was written by Moses.  It was the beginning.  If we don’t believe it, then we’re calling it a lie.  And once we begin to call God a liar, how can we all of a sudden claim to believe anything at all that He says?  If we can’t accept the things are are plainly visible, how can we begin to accept the things that aren’t visible at all – let alone the things that will happen in the future?
