Physicists Eye Parallel Universe, Extra Dimensions

Physicists Eye Parallel Universe, Extra DimensionsIt’s great when stories like this one come out. Physicists are still looking for proof that parallel universe(s) exist – along with other/extra dimensions and unknown forms of matter.

Something called “New Physics” – from the really expensive Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN near Geneva Switzerland.

(This is originally from October 23, 2010 – reposted / updated July 2016)

Sounds most impressive. Full details are available, among other places, at this article on FoxNews.com. The article includes the following –

Despite centuries of increasingly sophisticated observation from planet Earth, only 4 per cent of that universe is known — because the rest is made up of what have been called, because they are invisible, dark matter and dark energy.

Only 4% of the universe is known. Allegedly, this is because the rest of it is invisible. Huh. It’s invisible – unknown – but they know for sure that they do know 4% of it.

Question – how can science possibly know that they know 4% of something which they admittedly largely know nothing about?

That makes no sense at all. But when one puts on a number – in this case 4% – it sounds so “official” and “correct”. Surely it must be true? But – still – it can’t possibly be true.

If you were to pick up a handful of sand off the beach – look at it carefully as it poured through your hands – would anyone believe you if you said you now knew 1% of the sand on that beach? No way! Even if you were to measure the surface area of the sand and determine the surface area of the sand you had picked up – how deep is the sand? You don’t know – because you can’t see below the surface – it’s invisible to you!

Between that claim and the picture of Homer Simpson discovering a 3rd dimension in Treehouse of Horror VI (whatever that was) – it’s tempting to just ignore the whole thing.
But – of course – I didn’t.

There is more:

Physicists probing the origins of the cosmos hope that next year they will turn up the first proofs of the existence of concepts long dear to science-fiction writers such as hidden worlds and extra dimensions.

“Parallel universes, unknown forms of matter, extra dimensions… These are not the stuff of cheap science fiction but very concrete physics theories that scientists are trying to confirm with the LHC and other experiments.”

Could they be things that are actually found in the Bible?

Could they also be near and dear to those of us who study the Bible?

Consider this –

Enemy-occupied territory—that is what this world is. Christianity is the story of how the rightful king has landed, you might say landed in disguise, and is calling us all to take part in a great campaign of sabotage. When you go to church you are really listening-in to the secret wireless from our friends: that is why the enemy is so anxious to prevent us from going. He does it by playing on our conceit and laziness and intellectual snobbery. I know someone will ask me, ‘Do you really mean, at this time of day, to re-introduce our old friend the devil—hoofs and horns and all?’ Well, what the time of day has to do with it I do not know. And I am not particular about the hoofs and horns. But in other respects my answer is ‘Yes, I do.’ I do not claim to know anything about his personal appearance. If anybody really wants to know him better I would say to that person, ‘Don’t worry. If you really want to, you will. Whether you’ll like it when you do is another question.’

Wow. Where did that come from?
Actually – it comes from C. S. Lewis, in Mere Christianity. It was originally a radio broadcast in England during World War II.
That explains some of the imagery in the paragraph. But the more important point is the part about the devil really, actually, existing.

(If you have an interest in C. S. Lewis, and especially the Screwtape Letters, I have a study guide for the book here.)

Of course – since I went into the explanation of how scientists can’t possibly know that they know 4% of the universe –
I have to ask – how can C.S. Lewis, or any of us, know that the devil exists.
And especially – how can we know that the devil exists here on earth.

This was something you may have often heard about –
Satan being cast out of Heaven –
Satan walking around the earth –
Satan in Heaven –
Satan’s angels that left God and give allegiance to Satan instead.

But – what’s the actual Biblical evidence for this?
There’s a book called Every Angel in the Bible, by Larry Richards – published in 1997. In it, there’s a chapter titled The Origin and Nature of Demons. In that chapter is a section sub-titled A substantial scriptural theory on the origin of demons: they are fallen angels.

If you’d like to check out some of the various references he uses – here are 16 of them:

Matt 25:41

The Sheep and the Goats

Mt 25:31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
Mt 25:34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
Mt 25:37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
Mt 25:40 “The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’
Mt 25:41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’
Mt 25:44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’
Mt 25:45 “He will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’
Mt 25:46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

Rev 12:7

The Woman and the Dragon

Rev 12:7 And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. 8 But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. 9 The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.

Matt 12:24

Jesus and Beelzebub

12:25-29 pp — Mk 3:23-27; Lk 11:17-22

Mt 12:22 Then they brought him a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute, and Jesus healed him, so that he could both talk and see. 23 All the people were astonished and said, “Could this be the Son of David?”
Mt 12:24 But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, “It is only by Beelzebub, the prince of demons, that this fellow drives out demons.”
Mt 12:25 Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand. 26 If Satan drives out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then can his kingdom stand? 27 And if I drive out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your people drive them out? So then, they will be your judges. 28 But if I drive out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.
Mt 12:29 “Or again, how can anyone enter a strong man’s house and carry off his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man? Then he can rob his house.
Mt 12:30 “He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters. 31 And so I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. 32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.
Mt 12:33 “Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit. 34 You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks. 35 The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. 36 But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken. 37 For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.”

Ps 104:4

Psalm 104

Ps 104:1 Praise the LORD, O my soul.

O LORD my God, you are very great;
you are clothed with splendor and majesty.
Ps 104:2 He wraps himself in light as with a garment;
he stretches out the heavens like a tent
Ps 104:3 and lays the beams of his upper chambers on their waters.
He makes the clouds his chariot
and rides on the wings of the wind.
Ps 104:4 He makes winds his messengers,
flames of fire his servants.

Heb 1:14

The Son Superior to Angels

Heb 1:13 To which of the angels did God ever say,
“Sit at my right hand
until I make your enemies
a footstool for your feet” ? 14 Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?

Matt 8:16

Jesus Heals Many

8:14-16 pp — Mk 1:29-34; Lk 4:38-41

Mt 8:14 When Jesus came into Peter’s house, he saw Peter’s mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever. 15 He touched her hand and the fever left her, and she got up and began to wait on him.
Mt 8:16 When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick. 17 This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah:
“He took up our infirmities
and carried our diseases.”

Luke 10:17,20

Jesus Sends Out the Seventy-two

Lk 10:17 The seventy-two returned with joy and said, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.”
Lk 10:18 He replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. 20 However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”
Lk 10:21 At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure.
Lk 10:22 “All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, and no one knows who the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”
Lk 10:23 Then he turned to his disciples and said privately, “Blessed are the eyes that see what you see. 24 For I tell you that many prophets and kings wanted to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.”

Matt 17:14-18

The Healing of a Boy With a Demon

17:14-19 pp — Mk 9:14-28; Lk 9:37-42

Mt 17:14 When they came to the crowd, a man approached Jesus and knelt before him. 15 “Lord, have mercy on my son,” he said. “He has seizures and is suffering greatly. He often falls into the fire or into the water. 16 I brought him to your disciples, but they could not heal him.”
Mt 17:17 “O unbelieving and perverse generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy here to me.” 18 Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed from that moment.
Mt 17:19 Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?”
Mt 17:20 He replied, “Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.’”
Mt 17:22 When they came together in Galilee, he said to them, “The Son of Man is going to be betrayed into the hands of men. 23 They will kill him, and on the third day he will be raised to life.” And the disciples were filled with grief.

Luke 22:3
Judas Agrees to Betray Jesus – Luke

22:1, 2 pp — Mt 26:2-5; Mk 14:1, 2, 10, 11

Lk 22:1 Now the Feast of Unleavened Bread, called the Passover, was approaching, 2 and the chief priests and the teachers of the law were looking for some way to get rid of Jesus, for they were afraid of the people. 3 Then Satan entered Judas, called Iscariot, one of the Twelve. 4 And Judas went to the chief priests and the officers of the temple guard and discussed with them how he might betray Jesus. 5 They were delighted and agreed to give him money. 6 He consented, and watched for an opportunity to hand Jesus over to them when no crowd was present.

John 13:2

Jesus Washes His Disciples’ Feet

Jn 13:1 It was just before the Passover Feast. Jesus knew that the time had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he now showed them the full extent of his love.
Jn 13:2 The evening meal was being served, and the devil had already prompted Judas Iscariot, son of Simon, to betray Jesus. 3 Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God; 4 so he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist. 5 After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples’ feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him.
Jn 13:6 He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, “Lord, are you going to wash my feet?”
Jn 13:7 Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.
Jn 13:8 “No,” said Peter, “you shall never wash my feet.”
Jesus answered, “Unless I wash you, you have no part with me.”
Jn 13:9 “Then, Lord,” Simon Peter replied, “not just my feet but my hands and my head as well!”
Jn 13:10 Jesus answered, “A person who has had a bath needs only to wash his feet; his whole body is clean. And you are clean, though not every one of you.” 11 For he knew who was going to betray him, and that was why he said not every one was clean.
Jn 13:12 When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. “Do you understand what I have done for you?” he asked them. 13 “You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. 14 Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. 15 I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. 16 I tell you the truth, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. 17 Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.”

Rev 9:13-15

The Trumpets

Rev 9:13 The sixth angel sounded his trumpet, and I heard a voice coming from the horns of the golden altar that is before God. 14 It said to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” 15 And the four angels who had been kept ready for this very hour and day and month and year were released to kill a third of mankind. 16 The number of the mounted troops was two hundred million. I heard their number.
Rev 9:17 The horses and riders I saw in my vision looked like this: Their breastplates were fiery red, dark blue, and yellow as sulfur. The heads of the horses resembled the heads of lions, and out of their mouths came fire, smoke and sulfur. 18 A third of mankind was killed by the three plagues of fire, smoke and sulfur that came out of their mouths. 19 The power of the horses was in their mouths and in their tails; for their tails were like snakes, having heads with which they inflict injury.
Rev 9:20 The rest of mankind that were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood—idols that cannot see or hear or walk. 21 Nor did they repent of their murders, their magic arts, their sexual immorality or their thefts.

Rev 12:7-17

The Woman and the Dragon

Rev 12:7 And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. 8 But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. 9 The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.
Rev 12:10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say:
“Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God,
and the authority of his Christ.
For the accuser of our brothers,
who accuses them before our God day and night,
has been hurled down.
Rev 12:11 They overcame him
by the blood of the Lamb
and by the word of their testimony;
they did not love their lives so much
as to shrink from death.
Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, you heavens
and you who dwell in them!
But woe to the earth and the sea,
because the devil has gone down to you!
He is filled with fury,
because he knows that his time is short.”
Rev 12:13 When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child. 14 The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the desert, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent’s reach. 15 Then from his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river, to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent. 16 But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. 17 Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to make war against the rest of her offspring—those who obey God’s commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus.

Mark 9:17-26

The Healing of a Boy With an Evil Spirit

9:14-28; 30-32 pp — Mt 17:14-19; 22, 23; Lk 9:37-45

Mk 9:14 When they came to the other disciples, they saw a large crowd around them and the teachers of the law arguing with them. 15 As soon as all the people saw Jesus, they were overwhelmed with wonder and ran to greet him.
Mk 9:16 “What are you arguing with them about?” he asked.
Mk 9:17 A man in the crowd answered, “Teacher, I brought you my son, who is possessed by a spirit that has robbed him of speech. 18 Whenever it seizes him, it throws him to the ground. He foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth and becomes rigid. I asked your disciples to drive out the spirit, but they could not.”
Mk 9:19 “O unbelieving generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy to me.”
Mk 9:20 So they brought him. When the spirit saw Jesus, it immediately threw the boy into a convulsion. He fell to the ground and rolled around, foaming at the mouth.
Mk 9:21 Jesus asked the boy’s father, “How long has he been like this?”
“From childhood,” he answered. 22 “It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him. But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us.”
Mk 9:23 “ ‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for him who believes.”
Mk 9:24 Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”
Mk 9:25 When Jesus saw that a crowd was running to the scene, he rebuked the evil spirit. “You deaf and mute spirit,” he said, “I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.”
Mk 9:26 The spirit shrieked, convulsed him violently and came out. The boy looked so much like a corpse that many said, “He’s dead.” 27 But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him to his feet, and he stood up.
Mk 9:28 After Jesus had gone indoors, his disciples asked him privately, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?”
Mk 9:29 He replied, “This kind can come out only by prayer.’”
Mk 9:30 They left that place and passed through Galilee. Jesus did not want anyone to know where they were, 31 because he was teaching his disciples. He said to them, “The Son of Man is going to be betrayed into the hands of men. They will kill him, and after three days he will rise.” 32 But they did not understand what he meant and were afraid to ask him about it.

Rev 9:1-11

The Trumpets

Rev 9:1 The fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from the sky to the earth. The star was given the key to the shaft of the Abyss. 2 When he opened the Abyss, smoke rose from it like the smoke from a gigantic furnace. The sun and sky were darkened by the smoke from the Abyss. 3 And out of the smoke locusts came down upon the earth and were given power like that of scorpions of the earth. 4 They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads. 5 They were not given power to kill them, but only to torture them for five months. And the agony they suffered was like that of the sting of a scorpion when it strikes a man. 6 During those days men will seek death, but will not find it; they will long to die, but death will elude them.
Rev 9:7 The locusts looked like horses prepared for battle. On their heads they wore something like crowns of gold, and their faces resembled human faces. 8 Their hair was like women’s hair, and their teeth were like lions’ teeth. 9 They had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the thundering of many horses and chariots rushing into battle. 10 They had tails and stings like scorpions, and in their tails they had power to torment people for five months. 11 They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek, Apollyon.

Rev 12:3-4

The Woman and the Dragon

Rev 12:1 A great and wondrous sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. 2 She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. 3 Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on his heads. 4 His tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that he might devour her child the moment it was born.

Isaiah 14:12

Isa 14:12 How you have fallen from heaven,
O morning star, son of the dawn!
You have been cast down to the earth,
you who once laid low the nations!
Isa 14:13 You said in your heart,
“I will ascend to heaven;
I will raise my throne
above the stars of God;
I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly,
on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain.
Isa 14:14 I will ascend above the tops of the clouds;
I will make myself like the Most High.”
Isa 14:15 But you are brought down to the grave,
to the depths of the pit.

There are more – but this is a good sample.

All of these show that both angels and demons have names, are called by personal pronouns, can speak and communicate (including with us), have intelligence, and have emotions.

One conclusion reached in the book is –

Given all of the above, it seems clear that the Scriptures identify demons with the fallen angels who followed Satan and who remain committed to Satan’s agenda of resistance to the rule of God.

Given that all I’m trying to show is that the devil exists – I’ve gotten more than I was even looking for from the book. If demons are fallen angels – then both must exist.

For those of you who are familiar with the Book of Revelation – or for those that are just now checking it out from the references above – there are disagreements about whether the events in Revelation have already taken place – are taking place now – have not yet taken place but will in the future – or the book is telling of a spiritual conflict from Heaven’s perspective.

Which of these are correct – we just don’t know. But that’s not important for this article.

What’s important is that no matter which view is considered – they all believe it to be true.

So – the only conclusion to reach is that the devil does exist – demons do exist – and angels do exist.
Given that – the question is – where are they?
If they are here – why can’t we see them?

Could they be in a parallel universe?
Does science tell us anything about a parallel universe that might help us out with this?
Back to the FoxNews.com article –

Parallel universes could also be hidden within these dimensions, the thinking goes, but only in a so-called gravitational variety in which light cannot be propagated — a fact which would make it nearly impossible to explore them.

So – science says that there could be things in other dimensions – parallel universes – in a place where light cannot be propagated – and are therefore nearly impossible to explore.

Well – at least not light as we know it – and impossible for us humans to explore.

Is this just a convenient way for scientists to tell us “don’t hold your breath” waiting for an answer because it’s going to take us a really long time to find out? Or is it by Design?

I have to say – what I am about to write – I have not seen in any commentary. When I do these, I usually don’t know where they’re going – but tonight is especially unknown.

Anyway – here goes.

From Genesis 1:1-5 —

Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Gen 1:2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

Gen 1:3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.

Gen 1:4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.

Gen 1:5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.

What is really meant by the phrase separated the light from the darkness?
Based on the commentaries – there are questions about this. Especially since specific references to the sun and moon don’t come until verse 16.

From Zondervan NIV Bible Commentary

The division between “the day” and “the night” leaves little room for an interpretation of the “light” in v.3 as other than that of the sun.

And from the New International Bible Commentary

No suggestion is made as to where the light came from or how the darkness could coexist with it.

What if the separation between light and darkness was the creation of parallel universes?
What if God told us right in the very beginning of His Word to us that these things that we are now beginning to think we (science) can “prove” – actually have existed all along? And that He created them?

If you’ve read other articles from this site – you know that I believe it’s very possible that God – angels – Satan – all of them – could exist in parallel universes – and therefore be with us and all around us all of the time – and we don’t know, because we can’t see them.

What does the FoxNews.com article say about this?

The CERN theoreticians say this could give clear signs of dimensions beyond length, breadth, depth and time because at such high energy particles could be tracked disappearing — presumably into them — and then back into the classical four.

They presume that it is possible to travel from one parallel universe to another.

And – of course – what about the Bible?

From Job 1:6-7 —

One day the angels came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came with them.

The LORD said to Satan, “Where have you come from?” Satan answered the LORD, “From roaming through the earth and going back and forth in it.”

It says that Satan can go back and forth between Heaven and earth.

The Bible also says, in Genesis 3:23-24 —

So the LORD God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken. After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.

It says that man was driven out of the garden – and that it is guarded so that we cannot get back in. Not that God destroyed it – or removed it from the earth. Just that it’s “guarded” from us. In other words – it’s still there – we just can’t see it.
What if God “moved” it to a parallel universe? One that we can’t see?

Remember the first quotes from the FoxNews.com article?

Physicists probing the origins of the cosmos hope that next year they will turn up the first proofs of the existence of concepts long dear to science-fiction writers such as hidden worlds and extra dimensions.

“Parallel universes, unknown forms of matter, extra dimensions… These are not the stuff of cheap science fiction but very concrete physics theories that scientists are trying to confirm with the LHC and other experiments.”

They could maybe be re-written to say –

Physicists probing the origins of the cosmos hope that next year they will turn up the first proofs of the existence of concepts long dear to Bible scholars such as hidden worlds and extra dimensions where angels dwell, where God is with them.

“Parallel universes, unknown forms of matter, extra dimensions… These are not the stuff of cheap science fiction but very concrete physics theories that scientists are trying to confirm with the LHC and other experiments to show that the Bible has been correct, from the very beginning.

How cool is that? Science proving that the Word of God – as given to us in The Bible – was, is and always will be – True?

I need to clarify something here.  The paragraph below is from October of 1020, when I was using completely different software and a different host environment to write.
If you take the time to figure out what I’m using now, I am very happy with both the hosting company and the software / plugins I’m using.
I don’t want someone to get the wrong idea about them.

Final personal note — I have never had such a hard time, technically, writing one of these.
Twice, portions of the text were deleted – with no undo option available.
The package I use to design the site also crashed twice – both times with some loss of what I had written.
Dealing with computers – thousands of them – is what I do for a living.
What happened tonight – it’s not normal for my system.
Visitors from a parallel universe? Or am I just tired?

It’s late – much later than usual. But I just felt like I had to get this one out.
I pray that it makes you think – think about which god you spend your time and effort on.

Is it the God of the Bible? The God that science, whether willing to admit it or not, seems to be proving? The God that can save you?

He’s right there with you. So is Satan. You must choose one.

Please – make the Right choice.
