To the Church in Laodicea

When governments redefine Christianity, who do its follower pray to - illustrated by a man praying to a giant statue of a question mark.

Can China and U.S. governments define a new Christianity?

Who gets to define religion? In our case, specifically, who gets to define the new Christianity? China passed a set of religious regulations about six years ago. I started to write about them a couple of times. It was never quite right though. I felt like the U.S., in some way, was going to copy what China did. As it turns out, we’re doing just that.

Why Westerners don’t understand the Iran – Israel conflict
It's about strong religious beliefs

I heard someone on the news talking about the “decades old conflict between Iran and Israel”. The current conflict between Israel and Iran may be only decades old, but the conflict between Islam and Judaism has been going on almost since Muhammad’s visions. The letter to the lukewarm church in Laodicea – Revelation

We move on to the seventh and final letter in Revelation.  The end of the road, as far as the delivery of the Revelation given to John along the path of these seven churches.  This time the letter is to the lukewarm church in Laodicea.  Jesus has no good things to say to this church.  Therefore, the examination will obviously be about what’s going wrong here.  What did they do, or not do?  How might they have achieved no good news from Jesus?  And what can we learn for us today, both for our churches and for us as individuals?
